ASRG’s First Whitepaper Release – State of the Nation: Assessment Security at the Start of 2025

May 2025

The Assessment Security Research Group (ASRG) is proud to announce the release of our very first whitepaper, ‘State of the Nation: Assessment Security at the Start of 2025’.

This report examines the current threats to assessment security, including AI-driven cheating, technical threats, contract cheating, threats to exam centres, and the need to maintain public trust in assessments.

Why does this matter?

Assessment security is essential to protecting fairness, increasing equity, and maintaining trust in our examinations and qualifications.

As threats evolve, so too must our response. This paper serves as a starting point for meaningful discussion within the industry.

ASRG engages with educators, policymakers, and security professionals in our efforts to develop open conversation about assessment security.  We are dedicated to research, discussions, and solutions that will protect the integrity of assessments for the future.

We invite you to read this whitepaper and let us know your thoughts.  To access the whitepaper please CLICK HERE.
