ASRG at the FAB Awards: Celebrating Innovation and Integrity in Assessment

ASRG was delighted to accompany VICTVS at this year’s Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) Awards. The event brought together organisations and experts from across the sector to celebrate excellence in awarding and assessment.

It was a valuable opportunity for us to connect with colleagues, learn about innovative work across the field, and discuss shared priorities around assessment security.

The event featured several informative and engaging sessions, with particularly insightful updates from Gemma Marsh at Skills England and Sir Ian Bauckham, Chief Regulator for England — both of whom offered valuable perspectives on current developments in qualifications and skills. The DOSE Masterclass delivered by TJ Power was another standout, highlighting the impact smartphones are having on focus and attention, while offering a practical and engaging look at wellbeing, performance and how neuroscience can support learning and work.

Thank you to the Federation of Awarding Bodies for hosting a fantastic evening, and congratulations to all nominees and winners. We left feeling inspired and look forward to building on the conversations and connections made.

As we continue this work, we are always keen to welcome others who share our commitment to assessment integrity. If you would like to be part of a growing community focused on research, collaboration, and good practice, we invite you to join ASRG.
